Welcome to San Francisco. ๐
Tech Week is chaos in the best way: hundreds of events happen at once, everyone chasing intros, and way too many coffee chats. Most people leave with a ton of LinkedIn connections, but few real relationships.
Iโve seen that happen a lot. I moved here four years ago and had to build my network from zero. Along the way, I started hosting founder dinners, BBQs and Latin parties every other month. It was just a way to help friends who were new to the city find their people.
Over time, I noticed the same pattern: the people who enjoyed the city the most were also the ones who built the strongest networks.
So this isnโt a list of fundraising or productivity hacks. Itโs just a collection of the same tips Iโve shared with friends over the years about how to do SF right: where to go, how to meet people, and how to enjoy being here.
Because when you actually enjoy the city, everything else (friendships, intros, even the deals) starts to happen naturally.
See you around the city.
